A link so we can view the set might be helpful…
But yes, Top Flite is owned by Callaway.
Fore!
EDIT: OK, so after viewing the links. Yes, the Top Flite is a decent set for a beginner to occasional golfer. But if you want to be any sort of serious then I would recommend the Slazenger set. It will be easier to learn on, carry you further than the Top Flite, and will be easier to transition from.
Most people I know (myself included) that buy ’sets’ like these end up buying a new driver, fairway wood(s), and putter within the first year that better fit their game, swing, courses they play on, etc. So you should focus on the irons/hybrids, as you will be using them for longer, and because you will use them more than the others during a normal round of golf.

Top Flite was purchased by Callaway, that does not make them the same quality level. They are a cheap set and you get what you pay for. They are good when compared to other cheap sets.
My suggestion would be to get some lessons first, they usually have clubs you can use and ask the pro what he thinks you should get to match your swing. They will be able to make suggestions that would fit you personally and then you can use those suggestions and look at some used better quality equipment that you will be able to use much longer.

It has been very succesful budget brand, known for quality at a cheap price. This set includes all the clubs you need, plus a nice bag. I have tried slazenger out and it was good, but not as good as say taylormade( im addicted to them) but i can say it is well, well , well worth ttrying them out. They are great, i could almost hit them as far as the best clubs in the buissness. Trust me, you will love them because they are very forgivving
