This may seem like a stupid question, but I don’t know much about club making.

I’m planning on re-gripping my irons, which are Titleist DCI 762’s, but I play with Cleveland Halo hybrids for my 3 and 4 irons. Will standard iron grips work with my hybrids? All my irons, including the hybrids, have True Temper Dynamic Gold stiff shafts in them. I plan on regripping with Winn DSI AVS v-17’s.

I figure standard grips will work, but I keep finding grips specifically for hybrids on ebay, so I just want to make sure. I want to buy a set of 13 grips on ebay so I can re-grip all of my clubs, including my Taylor Made Burner, my Tour Exotic fairway woods, and my cleveland wedges. I plan on having them installed at my local Golfsmith.

I recently had to give up my Titleist 962 DCI irons.
Previously, I had chanced on the MPT Mizuno wedges and loved them.
I went out and bought the MP 57 irons customized to my specifications. . . Lie- 2 degrees and length – 1/4 inch.
My wedges are of standard manufacturer’s specifications.
Question is , is it recommended to have the wedges customized to the specs for the irons?
